On 26th February 2025, the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group organized a tech talk titled “Generative AI in Education.” Dr. Pritika Reddy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Science and Information Systems at Fiji National University, served as the guest speaker. The session explored key topics such as the differences between traditional AI and generative AI, the challenges faced by students and educators, the integration of generative AI into the existing education system, policy considerations, and potential student projects related to generative AI. The talk was attended by nearly 30 participants from both academia and industry, who actively engaged in the discussions
