InnovateHer: STEM Workshop for Empowering Girls in Secondary Schools-03

The InnovateHer: STEM Workshops for Secondary School Students – 03 and 04 were conducted in person on the 1st and 4th of August 2025 at J/Vembadi Girls’ High School, with the aim of preparing students for the national-level Young Computer Scientist competition. The workshop on 1st August was designed for students from Grades 6 to 10, offering a strong foundation in emerging technologies through hands-on activities focused on the Internet of Things (IoT). The session on 4th August, tailored for Grade 13 students, covered both fundamental concepts and advanced projects involving various sensors. Both sessions were expertly led by Mr. S. Suthakar and saw the active participation of 118 students. Each workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A and feedback session, leaving students motivated and better equipped with knowledge in cutting-edge STEM technologies.
