Alumni of Faculty of Graduate studies was formed and the first committee was established.

121^st Meeting of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Graduate Studies held on 17/10/2016 decided to request the following working committee to expedite the process of preparing Constitution for Alumni Association.

1. Prof.G.Mikunthan, Chairman

2. Prof.T.Velnmapy, Member

3. Mr.K.Kajapathy, Member

4. Mr.T.Vigneswaran, Member

Further, the Board decided to obtain the approval from the Council in this regard. The working Committee drafted the Constitution of the Alumni Association and placed to the Faculty Board of Graduate studies. The memo was placed to the Council for its approval.

417^th Meeting of the Council held on 22/04/2017, approved the constitution of the Alumni Association of the FGS.
