Mission of the faculty

To be a facilitator in producing professionally competent and capable postgraduates by providing quality teaching, learning, and carrying out research.

The logo of the University

This Logo has unique features:

  • Its background colour is peacock blue.
  • The lines are in yellow and the name of the University in all three languages are white.
  • At the periphery 64 lighting sources are there depicting 64 kind of arts.
  • At the center a lighting source and a"nanthi" appear with the quote of " Meipporul kanpathu arivu - means Discernment is wisdom"

Use of Logo - Permission need to be obtained.

Permission of the Senate should be obtained for any purpose to use University Logo by the students & staff.

To obtain the permission, a letter should be sent with the recommendation of the Course Coordinator (Taught programmes)/Supervisor and the Dean/Graduate studies to the Vice-Chancellor.

Without prior approval, using of Logo of the University for any purpose is an offence.
