We aim to help close the digital divide between South Asia and the Global North by fostering collaborative efforts to develop customized Natural Language Processing (NLP) resources and technologies. Additionally, we seek to enhance linguistic expertise for South Asian languages, ensuring that these languages receive the attention and technological advancements necessary to bridge the gap and promote equal digital access and opportunities across regions.
