A Successful First Edition: The International Conference on Fossil and Renewable Energies
On November 18th and 19th, 2025, the Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry at the University of Boumerdes proudly hosted the 1st International Conference on Fossil and Renewable Energies (ICFRE25). The event was organized by the Laboratory of Earth Physics (LABOPHYT).
We are delighted to announce the resounding success of this inaugural conference, which welcomed a significant number of participants from both academia and industry. Over the two days, attendees engaged with a rich program featuring numerous presentations and poster sessions summarizing cutting-edge research results.
The conference fostered a valuable exchange of knowledge, bringing together researchers from Algeria and abroad. A key achievement was the active participation of representatives from the petroleum industry, successfully building a bridge between industrial application and pure academic research.
