The documents presented by holders of foreign diplomas, seeking recognition of equivalence with Algerian university degrees, must be authenticated by the issuing university and the relevant Algerian diplomatic representation.
How to submit your application?
The equivalence application is done as follows:
Obtain an access account (username and password) by filling out a form (on the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research www.mesrs.dz).
Submit an equivalence application in the form of a paper dossier, the required documents for the equivalence application with Algerian graduation degrees are presented as follows:
For a Bachelor's Degree
Information form
A copy of the baccalaureate certificate or an equivalent recognized foreign certificate, duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
A copy of the graduation diploma (license or bachelor's degree) to be equated, duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
Copy of the transcript, duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
A translation, if necessary, in the national language of the applicant's entire dossier (done by a sworn translator) and endorsed by the Algerian consular authorities of the concerned country.
A copy of the passport.
An extract of the birth certificate.
A copy of the consular card.
A copy of the residency card covering the period of studies leading to the degree for which equivalence is sought.
For a Master's Degree
Information form
A copy of the baccalaureate certificate or an equivalent recognized foreign certificate, duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
A copy of the graduation diploma (license or bachelor's degree), duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
A copy of the postgraduate diploma (master's degree) submitted for equivalence, duly authenticated by the relevant authorities.
