God has been so good to me! Can't nobody tell it, like I can! I grew up in a gang infested, poverty stricken area on the south side of Chicago called Englewood. I played football in High school and College, but didn't go to school to learn.
I got into drinking, drugs, partying and thug life and at 25 years of age God filled me with the Holy Ghost and saved me. It was a fight worth winning and I thank God for the victory today. I must confess, I have been let down and hurt by people in the church, so WE work hard to make sure no one is let down or hurts you at Unity.
I've had to bury my 18 year old son Isaac. I've been angry with God, my family and the world but my faith in Jesus brought me though it all. I pray you will find God as I have, because nothing can stop us in Christ Jesus! Let us help you, we are not your judge, we are helpers of your joy! Bishop Walter J. Harris Sr.
