Founded along the Adige River, Trento is located at the hinge between the communication routes leading from the Brenner Pass to the Po Valley and Lake Garda to Venice. For centuries the main bridge between the Germanic and Latin worlds, it preserves its history in its monuments and ancient traditions, set within a natural landscape of incomparable beauty, making it one of the cities with the highest quality of life in Italy.

Social dinner
The social dinner will take place at 20:00 at the Scrigno del Duomo Restaurant, in Piazza Duomo.
Accommodation

How to reach Trento
By plane
There are several national and intercontinental airports located in Northern Italy from where you can reach Trento easily by train, bus or car.
Verona - Valerio Catullo airport (96,3 km)
This is the closest airport to Trento. Trento can be reached in about 1 hour by car via the Motorway (A22) or in about 1h 30min by train from Verona Porta Nuova train station, which can be reached by shuttle bus from the airport in about 15 minutes.
Venezia - Marco Polo airport (173 Km)
Trento can be reached in about 2 hours via the Motorway (A4 to Verona and then A22 northways or via SS47 Valsugana National road). The airport is well connected to Mestre train station and Venice Santa Lucia train station.
Bergamo - Il Caravaggio Orio al Serio airport (180 Km)
This is one of the main Italian hubs for low cost airlines. Trento can be reached in about 1h 50min by car (A4 to Verona and the A22 northbound), by bus services such as flixbus or by train (in about 3h 30min).
Milano - Linate airport (226 Km)
Form Linate you can reach Trento in about 2h 30 min by car (A4 and A22) or take the bus or the train to Milano Centrale train station and continue by train to Trento (see details below).
Milano - Malpensa airport (264 Km)
Trento can be reached in about 3 hours by car (A4 and A22) or by train (about 3h 30 min from Milano Centrale train station, which is about 1h from the airport by shuttle bus).
Trento train station is on the Verona-Brennero line and is served by regional, national, international, long-distance and high-speed trains.
Train tickets can be purchased on the Ferrovie dello Stato.

Please note that the last train from Verona to Trento leaves at 10.50pm and that the first train from Trento leaves around 5.30 am.
