VIOLENCE & INCARCERATION PREVENTION MOTIVATIONAL LIFE DEVELOPMENT (MLD) PROGRAM

The purpose of this program is to eliminate the specter of violence and incarceration from the lives of young individuals. Life experiences provide fertile ground for growth on multiple levels. The program focuses on improving literacy outcomes in the following critical areas:

Domestic Violence
Bullying
Human Trafficking Advocacy
Anger Management
Community Violence
Gun Violence
Police Violence

Remarkably, the California Education Code mandates that these topics be taught in schools. However, the reality is that instances of violence are often concealed by those who hold positions of authority. By raising awareness and fostering understanding among youth, we can reduce the need for jails and promote a greater presence of individuals in educational institutions.

BULLY PREVENTION AND SUPPORT GROUPS

Bullying has become a sad epidemic within our communities. Youth have begun to commit suicide due to thoughts of worthlessness, depression or simply due to the fact that nobody is listening. Our Youth lead Peer to Peer support groups are tooled to help those affected by bullies to become empowered thru EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION skills provided by trained youth advocates.

LIFE EXPERIENCE TRIPS

UNITEEE recently organized a memorable outing for 23 San Bernardino students, taking them to Santa Monica for a day at the beach. What made this trip particularly impactful was the fact that none of these students had ever set foot on a beach before. These excursions provide our youth with opportunities for renewed empowerment in their everyday lives.

Empowering Underprivileged Youth: Providing Shoes and Socks

Every month, UNITEEE seizes the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of up to 15 underprivileged youth. Our mission? To ensure that these young individuals not only receive basic necessities but also experience the transformative power of compassion and support.

Step 1: The Gift of Comfort Imagine a child slipping their feet into a brand-new pair of shoes. For some, it’s a luxury they’ve never known. These shoes aren’t just footwear; they’re a symbol of care, dignity, and hope. With each snug fit, we’re saying, “You matter. You deserve comfort.”

Step 2: Warmth and Protection But we don’t stop there. Alongside the shoes, we provide cozy socks—soft, warm, and ready to shield those little feet from the cold. It’s a small gesture with a big impact. These socks aren’t just fabric; they’re a shield against adversity, a buffer against life’s harshness.

Step 3: Empowering Futures Our commitment extends beyond material items. We believe that empowerment is about more than just physical comfort. It’s about instilling confidence, resilience, and a sense of possibility. When a child walks confidently in their new shoes, they’re taking steps toward a brighter future.
