Filters
Some filters can be placed in front of the optical system :
Bayer filter (photographic sensor only) : a color filter array for arranging RGB color filters on a square grid of photosensors (see Figure A),

Linear Polarizer : a polarization filter that only transmits light that is polarized in a given direction, defined by its angle (see Figure B). See the material section for more details on polarizers.

At the moment, only one filter can be placed on a sensor at a time. You cannot define a sensor with a Bayer filter and a Linear Polarizer.
