Mario Fiorillo
Full time Professor of Public Law at the Law department of the University of Teramo. The Cultural Heritage protection represents a central topic in his research activity. He is co-author, with Prof. Michele Ainis, of “L’ordinamento della cultura. Manuale di legislazione dei beni culturali” IV ed. Milano 2022 (“The Order of Culture. Handbook of Cultural Heritage Legislation”), and author of many works on the EU cultural heritage, the landscape notion, the freedom of art and science. Among his published works: “Verso il patrimonio culturale dell’Europa unita”, in Rivista AIC, 2011 (“Towards the cultural heritage of a united Europe” https://www.rivistaaic.it/images/rivista/pdf/Fiorillo.pdf) and “Paesaggio e patrimonio artistico” (“Landscape and artistic heritage”), in Aa.Vv.,«Diritto costituzionale», Milano, 2008. Currently, Mario Fiorillo is a scientific board member of the master programs “Management-Promotion-Technological Innovations in the management of cultural heritage”, at Roma Tre University, and “Law and Economics of the Sea”, promoted by University of Studies of Teramo and University of Studies G. d’Annunzio, Chieti-Pescara. At the Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca MUR - BANDO 2022 PNRR department of Law of the University of Teramo, he has taught also State Doctrine, Constitutional Law and Cultural Heritage Law.
Giuseppe Marazzita
Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the Law department of the University of Teramo, where he taught Regional Law and Environment Law. He is the Director of the School of Specialization in "Administrative Law and Administrative Science" established at the University of Teramo. He is a member of the UNITE’s research unit. His research activity focuses on emerging regulatory, the EU integration process and policy and the theory of State and Law. Prof. Giuseppe Marazzita has participated in the following Scientific Research Programs of Relevant National Interest; PRIN 2001-2002 (coordinator prof. Alessandro Pizzorusso and scientific responsible prof. Michele Ainis) on "Globalization, transformations of sovereignty and new frontiers of rights"; PRIN 2003-2004 (coordinator prof. Alessandro Pizzorusso and scientific responsible prof. Michele Ainis) on "The concept of sovereignty and its transformations in the era of globalization: the new frontiers of rights"; PRIN 2005-2006 (coordinator prof. Andrea Pertici and scientific head prof. Mario Fiorillo) on "The new frontiers of freedom rights in the globalized space." PRIN 2007-2008 (coordinator prof. Giuseppe De Vergottini and scientific head prof. Mario Fiorillo) on "The new frontiers of freedom rights in the globalized space".
Emanuela Arezzo
Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Teramo, where she teaches Company Law and IP Law. She is also President of the Master’s Degree in Law, Economics and Business Strategy. She is chair holder of the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Innovation Law and Policy (2023-2026), and member of the Board of Appeals of the UIBM, at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (since February 2024). Professor Arezzo currently holds the Italian Chair for the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA), which she joined in 2005 as junior member of the executive board. Emanuela Arezzo is member of the International Association for the Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP) and of the Association EPIP, European Policy for Intellectual Property. She is editor of the series New Directions in Patent Law (with Gustavo Ghidini and R. Dreyfuss) and member of the editorial committee of the Italian Law Reviews "Concorrenza e Mercato" and "Diritto Mercato Tecnologia". Winner of the AIPPI SORDELLI/MATHELY award, 2010 edition, for the best essay in IP Law, Emanuela Arezzo has authored a monographic work on the protection of software innovations (“Tutela brevettuale e autoriale dei programmi per elaboratore: profili e critica di una dicotomia normativa”, Giuffrè ed., Milano, 2012) and a second one on patent portfolios in the pharmaceutical sector (“Patent portfolios and pharmaceuticals: A European Perspective”, Giappichelli, Torino, 2023). She has edited several national and international volumes and has authored numerous essays on IP law and competition law.
Massimiliano Mezzanotte
Full time Professor in Public Law at the Law department of the University of Teramo, works on new rights, Communication law, protection of fundamental rights and territorial cooperation as a tool of social integration and cohesion. Currently, he is a member of the scientific board of the PhD Program in "Protection of fundamental rights - Italian and European Public Law" at the department of Law, University of Teramo.

Ferrara
Researcher of Public Law at the Political science department of University of Teramo. From August 2020 to date, she is Legal Advisor on European and Italian regulation of transport facilities for the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Sustainable mobility. From December 2021 to May 2022 she was scientific coordinator, with Prof. Francesco Bilancia, of the scientific seminars series about the NGEU program and the Italian Resilience and Facility Plan, at the University of Studies G. d’Annunzio. From September 2017 to January 2018, she obtained a PRIN (2015) research grant on "Tax and financial measures for Cultural Heritage protection and promotion", at the department of Law, University of Studies of Teramo. Recently, she has been scientific supervisor for the meeting entitled “Cultural heritage as an ecosystem. Digitalization and energy efficiency in the European Green Deal” (Chieti, 31 May 2022) in the context of the EU Green Week promoted by the EU Commission. In 2020, her first monograph work entitled “Capo dello Stato vincoli europei e obblighi internazionali. Nuove mappe della garanzia presidenziale” (Napoli, 2019) has won (ex aequo) the Italian National prize Sergio Panunzio dedicated to young researchers in the field of Constitutional Law.
Gianmaria Alessandro Ruscitti
Research fellow and adjunt professor of Legal Systems Theory at the University of Teramo, Department of Law. In July 2023, he obtained his doctorate in 'Processes of Harmonisation of Law between History and System' - Public Law area. He is a member of the Research Centre on Ecological Transition, Sustainability and Global Challenges. His scientific research activity has focused in particular on environmental protection, health and the right to life. As a scientific collaborator, he supervised the legal section of the Sinderesi School at the Pontifical Gregorian University (2017/2018). In the period 2021/2022 he worked at the Prime Minister's Office - Department of Regional Affairs, in the Office of the Chief Legislative Officer. He has been a qualified lawyer since 2016 and a freelance journalist since 2020.

His research activity focuses on the issues of digital constitutionalism, with particular reference to the implementation of the Digital Service Act in the Italian regulatory context. He also obtained a second-level Master's degree in Administrative Law (MIDA) at Luiss School of Law.

Zazzini
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, PhD in Technical Physics, Associate Professor of Technical Physics at the INGEO Department of the “G. D'Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara, where he currently teaches Technical Physics (in “Construction Engineering” degree L23 and “Architecture” master’s degree LM4) and Building Thermo-physics (master's degree in” Construction Engineering” LM24). He is author of more than seventy scientific publications in international and national journals, international congresses, and national conferences in some areas of Environmental Technical Physics, such as Architectural Acoustics, Energy Performance of Buildings, Technological Transport Systems of Natural Light. In this last area he has developed some innovative technological systems such as the Double Light Pipe (DLP) and the Modified Double Light Pipe (MDLP). He has also achieved a European patent for a passive system called “Ventilated Illuminating Wall”, used to distribute daylight and natural ventilation in underground and basement environments.

Rossi
Anthropologist, works on issues related to the recovery and enhancement of cultural identity and tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and the relationship between tradition and memory in the European context and in the indigenous cultures of the American continent. She has taken part in national and international research projects with fieldwork experiences in Mexico, Guatemala, and Chile.
Andrea Antonilli
Sociologist, has gained experience in the field of the relationship between new technologies and social control, in the identification of people, through the implementation of biometric recognition technologies. From 2006 to 2017, he was the holder of the Laboratory of Criminology Applied to Security at the University of Bologna and has written some publications focusing on cyber-security and the process of digitizing forms of surveillance and control.
Luciano Caroprese
Researcher at the Department of Engineering and Geology (INGEO) of the University "G. d'Annunzio" of Chieti and Pescara. He received a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Calabria in 2008. During his research activity, he worked on data integration techniques for P2P systems, view updating
strategies for deductive databases, deep learning models for recommendation systems, and online machine-learning techniques for data streams. He is also currently working on deep learning models for audio stream processing.
Mara Orlando
Ph.D. student in “Social Sciences” (curriculum “Philosophy and historical interpretation of social and political phenomena”) at the University G. d’Annunzio. Her research interest deals with the theories of value analysis in contemporary society, with special regard on the Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca MUR - BANDO 2022 PNRR material and immaterial goods. Her studying and working experiences on social research and security languages prompted her to focus on the existing differences between the oral speech and the written text in social science, referring, in particular, to the context of the society in the XIX and XX centuries.
