Andrew is a New Testament scholar and Associate Research Fellow at the London School of Theology. He has a degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford and an MPhil and PhD in Biblical Studies from LST.
He teaches New Testament occasionally, and is tutor for LST’s online MA in Biblical Studies. He has written a number of books, including most recently In the Form of a God: The Pre-existence of the Exalted Christ in Paul (Wipf & Stock). His present theological interest is in how we retell the biblical story as the church negotiates the difficult transition from the centre to the margins of our culture.
Sadly, Andrew is not a Unitarian. He regards classical trinitarianism as a plausible accommodation of the biblical narrative to an alien intellectual culture. But history moves on.
