I am Mrs. Jenn Carey- The H-Team science teacher. This will be my 13th year teaching science, my 4th year at Parkside Jr. High. I have been married to my husband for 17 years and am the mother of 2 beautiful children. Matthew is 16 and Lorelei is 13 and will be in 8th grade here at Parkside. I have a passion for the environment and hope to share with the students. I also love traveling, being outside and all things nature. I have several class pets, Mac- a fancy bearded dragon, 3 endangered alligator snapping turtles and a bunch of fish. I am looking forward to having an amazing year with amazing students :)

I am Ms. Fleri-Somers and I am a student teacher at Parkside for the 2020-2021 school year. For the fall I will be on the H team working with Mrs. Carey in 7th grade science. In the spring I am on the T team working with Mrs. Cawley in 7th grade social science. I love animals, and grew up with a variety of pets, including fainting goats. I have a 6.5 year old dog named Sherman, and he's a ball of energy. I am also a huge soccer fan, and spend much of my free time watching it. I'm excited to get this school year started and to get to know all of you!
