Fitness Room

• Equipment Safety and Room Usage

  • You may not be in the fitness room without direct supervision. (Sports as well, not just PE)

  • Only touch what you are instructed to touch (Hang on bars, dumbbells, TRX bands etc.)

  • No one on the cardio equipment or between it and the TV’s

  • Do not hang out around the desk and smartboard

  • Don’t drop any weights, med balls, kettlebells,

  • Only use equipment as instructed

    • Any misuse of equipment you will lose the privilege and may be charged for damages.

• Entering and Exiting the room

  • WALK IN and WALK OUT

  • Do not leave until the teacher dismisses you.

  • Be respectful of other classes (for drinks as well)

• Absences/Medical Notes/Make ups

  • See Handout

  • Sheet Filled out

• Injuries

Locker Rooms - IN AND OUT!!! THIS IS NOT A HANG OUT SPOT!!!!

• Pre and Post class routines

  • Being respectful entering and exiting, WALK

• Locking Lockers

  • Not responsible for lost OR stolen items

    • Check lost and found DO NOT ASK THE TEACHER

  • Bring leftover locks to teacher

  • Keep track of YOUR lock

• Assigned Lockers

  • Not sharing

• Not meeting locker room expectation will negatively affect your grade

• Keeping It Clean

  • There will be consequences

  • Put all items in the lockers

• Body/Changing

  • Easy on the smelly stuff

  • Change quickly

  • Cannot change in the stalls

• Phones

  • NO phones should be seen in the locker room!!!

  • Only bring phones to class if teacher instructs you to

• Behavior

  • No horseplay

  • Keep voices to minimum

• Office Procedures

  • Knock on door

  • DO NOT ENTER until the teacher asks you to come in

• Jewelry

Gym

• Pre and Post Class Routines

  • Walk in and out of gym

  • After leaving locker room GO DIRECTLY to assigned squad/attendance seat.

  • DO NOT GO INTO THE LOCKER ROOM UNTIL DISMISSED BY TEACHER

  • Once dismissed go directly to locker room

  • Be respectful of other classes (stay out of games/drills/exercises)

• Area and Equipment

  • Do not touch ANY equipment unless instructed to do so by teacher

  • Be respectful of equipment.

    • Any misuse may result in loss of privilege and possible charge for cost of damages

  •  Don’t climb on mats or bleachers (floor mats and wall mats)
