Light up the Night is a Service Learning Group dedicated to bringing sustainable solar energy to rural communities in Vietnam, starting with Mai Chau. Our mission is to provide reliable light through solar-powered lamp posts, improving safety, accessibility and quality of life in areas with limited electricity. We raise funds through school events such as Winterfest, Springfest and garage sales, which we use to purchase materials needed for building the lamp posts. Each year, our team travels to Mai Chau to assemble and install the lamps alongside the local community. Through both donations and sales, we aim to expand our impact and light up the dark—one village at a time.
