Francesco Ferramosca trained as an actor with Koreja in the 1980s, and in the same years followed the work on dramatic writing conducted by Nicola Savarese. He is an expert in the ancient art of Shadow Theater and the techniques of figurative art in movement. He creates and decorates figures on parchment by researching the typical iconographic figures of Salento. He is a member of UNIMA-Italy, where he serves on the "Training and Social" commission, which focuses on the social application of figures in the movement. In 2000, he founded Teatro Le Giravolte in Arnesano (LE), the first company in the south and one of the few in Italy to dedicate itself exclusively to the technique of shadow theatre.

Francesco Ferramosca si forma come attore con Koreja negli anni Ottanta, e segue negli stessi anni i lavori sulla scrittura drammaturgica condotti da Nicola Savarese. È un esperto dell'antica arte del Teatro delle Ombre e delle tecniche delle arti figurative in movimento. Crea e decora figure in carta pecora facendo ricerche sulle figure iconografiche tipiche salentine. È iscritto all’UNIMA- Italia, dove fa parte della commissione “Formazione e sociale “ che si occupa dell’uso sociale delle figure in movimento. Nel 2000, ha fondato ad Arnesano (LE) il Teatro Le Giravolte, la prima compagnia del sud e fra le poche in Italia a dedicarsi esclusivamente alla tecnica del teatro delle ombre.
