Guido Gioioso got his Master Degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Robotics and Automation at the University of Siena. Author of more than 20 peer-reviewed papers published on top scientific journals, books and conference proceedings, he focused his research activity on human-inspired robotic manipulation and haptics. During his PhD he was visiting student at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics of Tübingen. Today he is one of the co-founders and CEO of WEART, a startup developing revolutionary wearable and portable haptic devices for VR/AR and augmented digital experiences. His activity focuses on business development and management of the company.

Salvatore Fiore is a 3D artist specializing in photorealistic character design for video games. Born in Sarno, Italy, in 1987, he developed a passion for gaming early on, inspired by the characters of Street Fighter 2. By 14, he was experimenting with tools like the Half-Life Hammer Editor, M.U.G.E.N., and RPG Maker. At 21, he worked on his first commercially released game.
After years of working across various European studios, he is now based in Naples and works remotely as a Photoreal Character Specialist for Room8 Studio, one of the world’s leading outsourcing companies. His credits include Immortal: Unchained, Vermintide 2: Chaos Wastes, Diablo IV, and all characters from season four of Doc McStuffins. He's also a passionate collector of Japanese video games from the 32- and 128-bit eras.
