Rita Francese (Workshop Chair):
Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, University of Salerno. She is the director of the Mobile Computing Lab and has authored more than 150 papers. Her research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Machine Learning for biomedical data analysis, and the development of medical applications for learning disorders. She is the Principal Investigator of the PRIN 2022 project Supporting schizophrenia PatiEnts’ Care wiTh aRtificiAl intelligence (SPECTRA).
Felice Iasevoli
Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Residency School in Psychiatry at the University of Naples Federico II.
His main research interests concern the neurobiology of cognitive deficits in severe mental disorders, particularly schizophrenia and neurodevelopmental conditions.
As a clinician, he heads the unit for treatment-resistant psychosis and adult neurodevelopmental disorders.
He has authored over 100 international publications and received multiple grants, awards, and recognitions in psychiatry.
Mariacarla Staffa
Associate Professor in Human-Computer/Robot Interaction, AI, and Cognitive Robotics at the Department of Science and Technologies, University of Naples Parthenope. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE, belongs to the IEEE RAS Technical Committee for Cognitive Robotics, and is part of EUCognition (ID: 2037).
Her research interests span Cognitive Robotics, AI, and Social/Assistive Robotics, currently focusing on BCI-based interfaces in HRI for emotional and cognitive monitoring.
Prof. Dr. Kawa Nazemi
Full professor of Human-Computer Interaction and Visual Analytics at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and is an expert in user-centered and intelligent Visual Analytics.
Dr. Laura De Santis
Researcher in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Salerno, with expertise in AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and blockchain technologies.
