Stefano Conti holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and has spent 25 years in key positions within the Engineering&Maintenance Division of a major airline. He has held the roles of long, medium and short term maintenance planning manager, being the point of contact between maintenance and operations management, as well as the ultimate actor in the fleet continuing airworthiness control process. In addition, he was in charge of all the IT systems pertaining to the E&M Division and the point of contact with the IT Department. Under his coordination, several projects were implemented, such as: the optimisation of the maintenance programs implementation, the adoption of the new primary maintenance management IT system, the introduction of the electronic technical logbook, the implementation of the maintenance records management and archiving electronic system. He also coordinated working groups between different airlines in an international and multi-cultural context, aimed at harmonising and optimising the E&M Divisions’ business processes and IT systems. Since 2022, he has joined Lufthansa Systems’ team of management consultants in order to make his experience available to other airlines, particularly in the management and integration of both business processes and IT systems in maintenance and operations management areas.

Support in unifying processes and IT systems of different airlines belonging to the same group
Coordination of all the Lufthansa Systems' consultancy projects in the EMEA region
Coordination of the development of the interfaces between Lufthansa Group's different IT systems managing maintenance and operations
