Leonardo Ferrante in an Electronic Engineer. He is a member of the Engineers' Association, Rome Section since 2004. Moreover, since 2005 Italian Air Force (ITAF) Experimental Avionic Systems and, from 2017, Directorate for Air Armaments and Airworthiness (DAAA) Subject Matter Expert. From 2023 he is the Cyber Security Section Leader at DAAA.

• NGIFF Certification: Box Level (Transponder & Interrogator) and Platform Level

• National Airworthiness Authority Representative (NAAR) for some Eurofighter systems

• DAAA Technical Representative for some projects of the European Secure Software defined Radio (ESSOR) program

• DAAA Technical Representative for somo Five Power projects
