Fabio Nonino, Ph.D. is a Full Professor of Business and Management Engineering at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti" at Sapienza University of Rome. After obtaining a M.Sc. in Management Engineering from the University of Udine and a Ph.D. in Management Engineering from the University of Padua, he has pursued his academic career at Sapienza since 2010.
Combining academic rigor, applied research, and technology innovation, Fabio’s contributions span academia, industry, and entrepreneurship.
He is member of the Board of Italian Scientific Association of Business and Management Engineering and of the Board of Sustainability Committee of Sapienza.
He is Director of three postgraduate programs in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management, member of the academic boards of many master's programs at universities and business schools and lecturer on Business Management, Project Management, and Technology Innovation across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed scientific publications and two international books published by Springer on Servitization and Additive Manufacturing Management.
He has served as a Principal Investigator, Project Manager, and researcher in numerous projects funded by the European Commission, as well as in national and regional research initiatives. He collaborates extensively with public institutions and private companies to drive innovation and applied research.
In 2008, he founded The Business Game Ltd, an academic spin-off specializing in management education through business simulations and serious games.
