The MAT project developed a Data Management Plan (DMP) to plan and manage the entire lifecycle of research data in a structured way. Designed from the initial stages by the research team in collaboration with Dr. Francesca Di Donato and Dr. Lottie Provost from CNR–ILC (Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale), the DMP is conceived as a “living document” that can be updated as the research progresses. It includes information on data collection, organisation, management, and preservation, outlining the standards, formats, and tools adopted. It also addresses ethical and legal aspects, such as anonymisation and the protection of sensitive data. Furthermore, it defines conditions for access, sharing, and reuse, including any restrictions or embargo periods. The DMP also makes it possible to estimate the time and costs associated with data management. Overall, it supports informed decision-making and enhances the efficiency of the research process.
The latest version is updated as of 31 March 2026 and provides an overview of the DMP at the formal conclusion of the project on 28 February 2026.
