Study plans for the Master’s degree programme
In order to be able to book any exam using the INFOSTUD system, students shall first submit a study plan and ensure that it has been approved in due time. In order to be awarded the Master’s degree, the exams taken shall match exactly those included in the study plan approved.
For any issues relating to study plans, students may contact Professors Giampaolo Liuzzi and Massimo Roma, upon prior appointment to be set by email using the following email address only:
pds-magistrale-gestionale@diag.uniroma1.it
Submission of the study plan (or modification of a previously approved plan) may take place no more than twice per academic year and must be completed within the specified periods outlined below:
Once between 15 October and 30 November.
Once between 15 March and 30 April.
Study plans not submitted within these time frames will not be accepted. For students newly enrolled in the current academic year in the Master’s degree programme, the first time frame is extended until 5 February.
The most recently submitted and approved study plan shall replace any previously submitted and approved plan.
Students who do not wish to modify a previously approved study plan are not required to submit a new one.
If a study plan is rejected, it shall be revised in accordance with the reasons provided and then submitted again.
Please note that approval of study plans is not immediate, as it requires review by the relevant staff.
Please also note that, outside these periods, the email account pds-magistrale-gestionale@diag.uniroma1.it is not regularly monitored by those responsible for study plans. Therefore, responses to requests for information may be delayed.
IMPORTANT
Students who intend to submit a new study plan after having already submitted one in the same academic year shall follow the procedure below:
Step 1. Request cancellation of the previously submitted study plan
Step 2. Wait for cancellation to be completed
Step 3. Submit the new study plan
Therefore, students who have already submitted a study plan in the October-November period shall first arrange for its cancellation in order to submit a new one in March-April.
Cancellation of the study plan may be requested via the following Google Form:
https://forms.gle/EhcjSWQdTjfezHPy6 .
Cancellation is not immediate and may take several days. It is the student’s responsibility to check when cancellation has been completed in order to proceed with submission of the new study plan.
Please note that all study plans submitted outside the designated periods (15 October-30 November and 15 March-30 April) will be rejected.
For the submission of study plans, students shall FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW OTHERWISE THE STUDY PLAN WILL NOT BE APPROVED:
Students shall select one of the proposed curricula on the Academic Programme management system.
Exams shall then be selected strictly in accordance with the Academic Regulations for the relevant year of enrolment (available at: https://sites.google.com/uniroma1.it/lm31-ing-gest-eng-060/regolamenti).
Students shall make sure that exams that may be taken either in the first or second year are assigned to the year in which they intend to take them. Exams indicated as 12 ECTS credits elective credits may be taken in either the first or second year.
For the 3 ECTS credits reserved for pass/fail learning activities that complete the study plan, it is possible, alternatively, to:
select a laboratory course, which shall be attended and, at the end of it, recorded as a pass in a specific exam session;
select the ‘Internship’ option, if – upon prior agreement with their supervisor – students wish to carry out an internship with a company/organisation in line with the preparation of the final dissertation (see: https://sites.google.com/uniroma1.it/lm31-ing-gest-eng-040/tirocini).
In this case, the 3 ECTS credits shall be recorded before submitting the graduation application. The lecturer in charge of recording is Professor Alessandro Annarelli;
select the ‘IT Skills’ option, if students wish to combine the 3 ECTS credits with the final dissertation (i.e., therefore preparing a 21 ECTS credits dissertation).
In this case, it is necessary to indicate this option in the notes by writing down: “I intend to combine the 3 ECTS credits of IT Skills with the final dissertation.” (N.B.: during the graduation application process, the administrative office will not accept any other wording).
In this case, the 3 ECTS credits will be recorded automatically right after submission of the graduation application.
It is recommended to refer to the tutorial guides describing the procedures for filling in and submitting study plans:
