I’m a Professor of Economics at Sapienza University of Rome and a Research Fellow at IZA Bonn. 

My recent work combines theoretical, empirical, and experimental methods to investigate the behavioral, economic, and political effects of ICTs, the origins and consequences of social capital, and the determinants of social and political preferences—from support for redistribution and concern about climate change to populist sentiment and attitudes toward democracy.
