Fabio Sabatini

Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Economics and Law

I’m a Professor of Economics at Sapienza University of Rome and a Research Fellow at IZA Bonn.

My recent work uses theoretical, empirical, and experimental approaches to explore the behavioral, economic, and political impact of ICTs, the roots and economic outcomes of social capital, and the drivers of social and political preferences—ranging from support for redistribution and climate change concerns to populist sentiment and attitudes toward democracy.

My Google Scholar Citation Profile is here (H-Index = 34 as of December 2024; citations = 4721), and my RePEc statistics are here.

I occasionally write op-eds on economics and policy for the Italian newspaper Il Foglio and the Italian magazine Internazionale.
