He is a member of the CIRTEN Board of Directors (Interuniversity Consortium for Nuclear Technological Research) as Sapienza delegate for the 2023–2026 term, together with Prof. Gianfranco Caruso.

At the association level, he is a member of the Italian Nuclear Association (AIN) as Scientific Advisor of the Advisory Board; he also served as Observer on the AIN Board of Directors for the Italian Nuclear Young Generation (INYG) during 2024–2025. 

He is also a member of UIT (Italian Union of Thermo-fluid Dynamics).

He also represents Sapienza in the European Industrial Alliance on SMRs working on the TWG2 (Technology and R&D&I) and TWG4 (Skills).

On the editorial side, he sits on the editorial board of Latin American Applied Research (LAAR) (Heat and Mass Transfer section), is Section Board Editor for Sustainability (Resources and Sustainable Utilization section), and Associate Editor for the Nuclear Reactor Design section of Frontiers in Nuclear Engineering. 

He carries out peer review activities for international journals as Nuclear Engineering and Design, Fusion Engineering and Design, Annals of Nuclear Energy, Nuclear Technology.

He has been a member of the Faculty Board of the PhD Programme in Energy and Environment since A.Y. 2019/20.
