Welcome to my website!

I am a demographer (Phd and MSc. at Sciences Po, Bachelor at Sapienza). I currently work as Professor at the MEMOTEF Department at Sapienza University of Rome. 

I work on international migration in Italy, with special attention to migrants’ integration, migration policies, sexual and reproductive health of migrant populations. 

Additionally I study demography of the Mediterranean countries, more specifically my research focuses on fertility transition in Egypt adopting a gender perspective. 

In my research I use quantitative methods and yet I am opened to new research fields and to multidisciplinary research.
