This project is embedded in current research on valency patterns. We build on results reached from earlier and ongoing projects, including the PaVeDa project (Pavia, ongoing), the PRIN 2015 project “Transitivity and argument structure in flux" (Naples-Pavia, 2016-2021), as well as the Leipzig original ValPaL project.
The PaVeDa project. PaVeDa–Pavia Verbs Database is an open-source relational database for investigating verb argument structure across languages, which intends to expand and enhance the ValPaL database with more languages and further features. The database is available to the scientific community on an Open Source basis through a dedicated platform.
