This summer school will take place for the first 3 days in a comfortable guest house "Cascina Venara" within the Ticino Valley Regional Park, to create a nice atmosphere and stimulate exchanges. In a few minutes walking from the guesthouse, you will reach the natural reserve "Bosco Siro Negri", a national and integral reserve managed by the University of Pavia. Here, practical exscercises will take place.

The second part of this summer school will be held in the city of Pavia. Lessons will take place in the historical Botanical Garden in the center of the city and will mainly focus on statistical analysis and computer simulations. Participants are free to find their accommodation among the many colleges or hotels widespread in the city.
