Mary Frances Lynch

After working for ten years as a third grade teacher at Alta Vista, I began working as a Technology Integration Teacher on Special Assignment (ToSA). In this role, I am privileged to work with teachers and their students, from TK through 8th grade, as together we bring the best edtech practices into classrooms to transform learning in our one-to-one environment.

Here some ideas for lessons that I can teach/co-teach/help you with:

• Intro to Google Drive (Docs,Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drawing)
• Digital Portfolios (using Seesaw for younger students and Google Sites)
• Creating and Using Google Classroom
• Using Google Maps to support curriculum
• Class blogging (using Seesaw, Kidblog, or Blogger)
• Digital Storytelling (using Seesaw, Adobe Spark, Powtoon, WeVideo, Story Bird)
• Creating Digital Posters (using Google Draw/Slides, Glogster)
• Iron Chef Presentations (using Google Slides) to support non-fiction reading, research, and presentation
• Using online tools to present and/or assess content (using Kahoot, Quizizz, Nearpod)
• Creating screencasting tutorial videos to teach a lesson or having your students using screencasting to demonstrate learning
• Vocabulary lessons using the Frayer Model or Haiku Deck
• Using chromakey/green screen
• Find and organize virtual field trips for your class, or help coordinate buddy-classes and/or projects.
