All About

I wanted to write this to to let you know a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in the South Bay. I am the oldest in a family of six, and have had countless hours of babysitting siblings as well as other children.

I got my Bachelor of Science at the University of Oregon. After graduating I spent a year in West Africa where I volunteered and taught several children. I was inspired to become a teacher while in Africa, where I truly learned how vital an education is to our lives.

I recently received my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and Masters in Elementary Education at San Jose State University. I was lucky to be able to student teach at Oster last year, while doing so I feel in love with the school and parental support.

I am a teacher who is all about balancing academics, care, and fun. I want to create an environment in which students feel comfortable, and are able to develop a love of learning. I am looking forward to this exciting year!
