The Uniondale Esports & Gaming Club started in the 2019-20 school year. We wanted to provide our students, who share the love of gaming, an opportunity to meet and compete safely in a school environment. We know grasping the concept of playing video games in school is difficult. You may have many questions, but we will try to give you an insight into what we are doing at Uniondale High School.

The Esports and Gaming Club is a brand new club here at Uniondale. In our three years, we have accomplished a lot. Our FIFA team won the Eastern Region Spring 21 High School PlayVS Championship, and our Smash Ultimate team is playing in the Eastern Region Fall 21 High School PlayVS Championship! We have accomplished this by having our students compete from home with their own devices and games. Hardware and software are expensive. We rely on the students to own their equipment so we can compete. For these reasons, we ask for your support.

Our Uniondale Esports and Gaming Club hope to grow and achieve many things in the next couple of years. We have many dreams, including expanding and adding more games, becoming a full-fledged sports team, creating a space dedicated to our program, obtaining enough devices, hardware, and software to support our student-athletes, and providing scholarship opportunities. Unfortunately, as a Tier 1 minority school, we do not have the funds to support these goals. Hopefully, with your help, we hope to accomplish our dreams!
