Digital Imagery & Media

Course Description: In this experimental photography-driven course, students will learn how to create digital imagery and media using both their mobile phones and Nikon DSLR cameras. Students will improve their use of composition, lighting, and photo manipulation while learning tools and applications to create professional imagery and video media that can be used for social media, fine art, advertising and design. Students will become fluent in Adobe Lightroom as well as explore other Adobe applications and digital applications. Contemporary artists will be introduced throughout this course. Ultimately, students will find their own personal style and voice through digital imagery and media to produce a final portfolio.
