Medal of Heroism | Awarded to Cadets who demonstrate an action that involves acceptance of danger, extraordinary responsibilities, exemplifying praiseworthy fortitude, and courage.

Superior Cadet | Awarded to 1 Cadet in each LET level. The Cadet must be in the top 10% of their class academically, and top 50% of the overall academic standing.

Distinguished Cadet (N-1-1) | Cadet must have highest GPA in the UCHS Tiger Battalion.

Academic Excellence (N-1-2) | Cadet(s) must be in the top 10% grades for the Battalion

Academic Achievement (N-1-3) | Cadet(s) must have a 90+ in their respective JROTC class, and a 80+ in their other classes

Perfect Attendance (N-1-4) | Cadet(s) must be present at school all year with no unexcused absences

Student Government (N-1-5) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the school Student Government

LET Service (N-1-6) | Cadet must have highest GPA in the UCHS Tiger Battalion.

JLAB Team (N-1-8) | Cadet(s) must be a part of one of the JLAB teams (Academic Team A, Academic Team B, Leadership Team) to receive this ribbon

Personal Appearance (N-3-2) | Cadet must have an exceptional uniform standard all year, with no mark-offs

Cadet of the Year (N-3-3) | Cadet must be handpicked for exceptional behavior, and then pass two interviews

Drill Team (N-3-4) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Drill team to receive this ribbon

Orienteering (N-3-5) | Cadets who earn this completed a Land Navigation test during the JCLC summer camp.

Color Guard (N-3-6) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Color Guard to receive this ribbon

Rifle Team (N-3-7) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Air Rifle team to receive this ribbon

Adventure Training (N-3-8) | Cadet(s) went rappelling down an 80 ft tower at JCLC in order to receive this ribbon

Commendation (N-3-9) | performance of duty exceptionally exceeding that expected of a cadet of his grade and experience 

Good Conduct (N-3-10) | Cadet(s) must earn 15 or more merits, with no failing grades in order to be awarded this ribbon

JCLC (N-3-11) | Cadet(s) must go to the JCLC (JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge) summer camp to earn this ribbon

MP Commander (N-3-12) | Cadet must be the Commander of the Military Police (MP) Team

Honor Guard (N-3-13) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Honor Guard to receive this ribbon

Top 8th Grader (N-3-14) | Cadet must be in the 8th grade JROTC class, and be selected  to be the most exceptional out of all of the rest of his or her class

Honor Company (N-3-15) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Honor Company at JCLC

Varsity Athletics (N-2-1) | Cadet(s) must participate in one of the school athletic sports teams

JROTC Physical Fitness Award (N-2-2) | Cadet(s) who earn this must complete in the top 85% of the nation during Cadet Challenge for their gender, and age group. (look in Cadet Reference Guide to see your requirements)

JROTC Athletics (N-2-3) | Cadet(s) who earn this must complete in the top 50% of the nation during Cadet Challenge for their gender, and age group. (look in Cadet Reference Guide to see your requirements)

Raider Team (N-2-4) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Raider team to receive this ribbon

Elite Raider (N-2-5) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the Raider team, and complete the Elite Raider Challenge in  the allotted time to receive this ribbon

Parade (N-4-1) | Cadets earn this ribbon by being part of the Homecoming Parade.

Recruiting (N-4-2) | Cadet(s) earn this ribbon through getting someone outside the program to join.

MP Team (N-4-3) | Cadet(s) must be a part of the MP team to receive this ribbon

Cadet of the Semester (N-4-4) | Cadet must be handpicked for exceptional behavior, and then pass one interview

Cadet of the Semester Nominee (N-4-5) | Cadet must be handpicked for exceptional behavior

Service Learning (N-4-6) | Cadet(s) must participate in the annual Service Learning Project to receive this award
