STUDIO DAY: Orientation, quick intro to procreate and sketching.

Using Procreate, draw 5 perspective drawings, one of which should be done from observation of a space.
Present Project 1.
SITE VISIT: SFmoma
As a class, visit SFmoma. Make drawings on location and collect pixels from visits with your phone/ipad cameras.
Homework:
Using Procreate, make 5 observational drawings that demonstrate one point and two point perspective. We will talk about the drawings next class session.

Homework:
Draw a series of shaded primitive shapes: spheres, cylinders and cubes. You may choose to look at real objects, like fruits, boxes and cans. Experiment with combining them into larger compositions.

Homework:
Make a minimum of 5 drawings from observation or from the imagination that demonstrate shape, form and shading.

Homework:
Using photos you have taken to date or content you find online, practice creating four imaging compositions with the mobile version of Photoshop or Procreate.

Using your iPads and phones, take as many pictures as you can from this location. Use those images, along with other imagery you have taken while in the Bay Area in your collage production.
