If you are new to Factory I/O, it will be useful to get an introduction to a few basic concepts regarding the user interface and general workflow.

Cameras are a key element in Factory I/O. Almost every task requires you to know how to properly manipulate cameras.

Factory I/O includes a large selection of parts inspired by the most common industrial equipment. You create a virtual factory with them.

Each sensor or actuator has one or more tags. Tags are used to link actuators and sensors values to a controller. However, tags can also be used to control actuators manually.

Before controlling a scene with an external controller (a PLC, for instance) it's recommended to test it manually. This way you can ensure that the scene layout works as expected.

Control I/O is a simple yet powerful Soft PLC designed exclusively to be used with Factory I/O.
