The benefits of an Urban Farm Agri-hood.
An agrihood is a “farm-to-table” neighborhood where residents live near a working farm or community garden — giving families access to fresh, locally grown food, a deeper connection to nature, and a stronger sense of community without needing to manage the farm themselves.
According to NAHB, agrihoods are “working-farm” communities that replace traditional amenities (like golf courses or clubhouses) with crop fields or groves — offering health and wellness, stronger community connection, and a real estate differentiator that appeals to buyers in a competitive housing market.

With the right funding support, the Un-Included Urban Farm Agri-Hood will become a fully realized 7-acre ecosystem of wellness, learning, and community transformation in East Temple’s Crestview district. This future development plan outlines how the farm will evolve into a youth-powered agricultural hub that nourishes families, grows leaders, and models equitable community development.
The Un-Included Urban Farm is envisioned as more than land—it will be a living classroom, a community wellness hub, and the center of a regenerative movement led by Cultivate Academy-CTX and the Un-Included Foundation. With strategic investment, this site will become an interactive Agri-hood of wellness where residents, students, partners, and families learn, create, and thrive together.
This plan imagines a farm designed as a place where agriculture becomes a pathway to healing, leadership, entrepreneurship, and belonging. Every element—from future color-coded learning zones to interactive build installations, microgreen production infrastructure, outdoor gathering spaces, and youth-led markets—will be intentionally crafted to reflect purpose, creativity, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
With adequate funding, the Un-Included Urban Farm Agri-Hood will be a place where:
Students become growers, chefs, scientists, and entrepreneurs, learning through hands-on experiences in agriculture and wellness.
Youth leaders steward the land and teach the community, modeling leadership, responsibility, and innovation.
Families access whole, nutrient-dense foods, grown and shared within their own neighborhood.
Partners collaborate to build a healthier, more resilient community, investing in a shared vision of wellness, sustainability, and economic mobility.
The plans presented on this website represent what this farm will become as funding is secured:
A farm that feeds both minds and bodies.
A neighborhood intentionally designed around nourishment and wellness.
A model for equity-driven agriculture, youth leadership, and community education.
This vision positions the Un-Included Urban Farm Agri-Hood as a replicable model for community transformation—rooted in agriculture, strengthened by education, and powered by the leadership of youth.
With the right support, this land will become a place where we are:
Rooted in Purpose
Branching Out with Innovation
Cultivating Courage
Creating Fruitful Impact
One seed, one lesson, one leader, and one family at a time.
