About Climate Econometrics

Climate Econometrics aims to develop econometric methods to augment climate-economic research by helping disentangle complex relationships between human actions and climate responses and their associated economic effects, masked by stochastic trends and breaks. It also aims to improve our understanding of the impact of humanity on climate and vice versa, as well as on how econometrics can be used in climate-economic research.

The Climate Econometrics project and network is based at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford, in collaboration with the Department of Economics at the University of Victoria, and the Environmental Defense Fund. The research is funded by the Robertson Foundation.
