The Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA) offers 4 grants for the participation of students to the 1st AIxIA Lake Como Summer School on Advances in Artificial Intelligence. The objective of the AIxIA student grant is to encourage students interested in subjects related to Artificial Intelligence to become active members of the AIxIA community. All assigned grants cover School fees (retained by the grant amount). Each awarded student will obtain a grant of € 470 (four hundred and seventy euro).
To apply, the candidates should satisfy the following requirements:

Applications must be sent via email to Antonio Lieto, Roberto Micalizio and Luciano Serafini (alieto@unisa.it, roberto.micalizio@unito.it, serafini@fbk.eu) by 6th September 2024 (please use the subject “AIxIA School Student Grant”). The application must include the following information:

The applications will be evaluated by the Commission formed by Antonio Lieto (University of Salerno), Roberto Micalizio (University of Turin) and Luciano Serafini (Fondazione Bruno Kessler, FBK). The Commission will evaluate the submitted applications and will select the students that will receive grants on the basis of the following priorities:
Quality of the curriculum vitae.
Declared impossibility to have other funds to attend the School.
The selected students will have to confirm their participation in the School within 3 business days after the notification.
Instructions for getting the reimbursement after the event will be sent to the selected students by email. In order to be refunded the certificate of attendance shall be sent within one month after the end of the conference, that is, no later than 27th October 2024.
