THE 1ST WORLD ENGINEERING, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION CONFERENCE

(WESTAC 2022)

1st World Engineering, Science and Technology Conference (WESTAC) 2022 telah berjaya dianjurkan oleh FTKEN. Persidangan ini ialah yang pertama dianjurkan secara bersemuka sejak fasa endemik diumumkan oleh kerajaan.

Persidangan yang dibuat bertempat di Resort World Langkawi ini telah menerima sejumlah 130 penyertaan dan 110 kertas persidangan dari 17 institusi dan 15 buah negara termasuk Malaysia. Antara negara luar yang terlibat ialah Jordan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iraq, Qatar dan Iran.

WESTAC 2022 telah dirasmikan oleh Prof. Madya Ts. Dr. Azremi Abdullah Al-Hadi, Dekan, Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Elektronik. Dua orang Keynote Speaker telah dijemput iaitu Prof. Ir. Dr. Norhayati binti Soin dari Universiti Malaya dan Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Fareq bin Abdul Malek dari Universiti of Wollongong, Dubai.

The 1st World Engineering, Science and Technology Conference (WESTAC) 2022 has been successfully organized by FTKEN. This conference is the first to be organized face-to-face since the endemic phase was announced by the government.

The conference held at Resort World Langkawi has received a total of 130 entries and 110 conference papers from 17 institutions and 15 countries including Malaysia. Among the foreign countries involved are Jordan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iraq, Qatar and Iran.

WESTAC 2022 was inaugurated by Prof. Assoc. Ts. Dr. Azremi Abdullah Al-Hadi, Dean, Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology. Two Keynote Speakers have been invited, namely Prof. Ir. Dr. Norhayati binti Soin from the University of Malaya and Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Fareq bin Abdul Malek from the University of Wollongong, Dubai.
