Working and Living with AI: Moving Beyond Automation to True Collaboration
Associate Professor Dr Azizi Ab Aziz is the head of the Human-Centred Computing Research Laboratory School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia. His research interests are social robot applications, computational agents, and social data analytics. He received his doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for his work in computational AI modelling for sociable therapeutic robots for mental health intervention. He serves on several world-renowned conference program committees as a reviewer in the areas of cognitive robotics, data science, artificial intelligence, and multi-agent systems such as Brain Informatics, IJCAI, MIWAI, AAMAS, IEA-AIE, CogSci, and Cognitive Computation. Also, he was one of the committee members for the National Big Data Initiatives, Digital Malaysia, National Agent and Multi-Agent Systems Task Force, Inter-Agencies Planning Group for the 11th Malaysia Plan, National Bridging Digital Divide (BDD) Programmes, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation DOC Mobile Lab, and Kedah Transformation Lab. Prior to joining Universiti Utara Malaysia, he was a postdoctoral scientist at Amsterdam Media Lab, a research engineer at the Artificial Intelligence System Development Laboratory (AISDEL), SIRIM Berhad, and a principal software architect for "Automated Personalized Management System for Diabetic Patients," an award-winning project from B|Braun (M). He is currently developing computational and data analytic models for human-AI trust, empathy, and AI-based well-being management systems. As a part of his passion towards AI and computing technology, he works closely with Pusat Sains Negara and U-Science Sabah to educate the nation’s future talents in STEM, especially in the field of artificial intelligence.
Applied AI: Transforming Education and Industrial Workflows beyond Automation
Mr. Jay Ooi completed a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Malaya. He is currently the Senior Manager of Research and Development at the General Electronics Measurement Solution (GEMS) business group within Keysight Technologies.
Jay began his career as a software engineer and has since taken on various roles, including system engineer, application engineer, project manager, program manager, and software manager, across both the R&D and Order Fulfilment departments. His diverse experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
As a forward-looking leader, Jay has been instrumental in pioneering multiple projects within Keysight Technologies. These projects include the development of software platforms, test automation tools, and AI productivity tools. Most recently, Jay has taken on the role of AI Program Lead for GEMS, where he is responsible for integrating AI culture into the business group.
Jay is passionate about nurturing the next generation of talent. He frequently participates in career talks for undergraduates and mentors engineers and managers, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and growth.
Intelligent Edge: The Role of AI and IoT in Shaping Future Electronics
Dr. Muhammad Usman Younus is the Chairman and Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science at Baba Guru Nanak University (BGNU), Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan. Before joining BGNU, he served as the Head of Department and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Jhang. Dr. Usman earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering from Université Toulouse III, France, and his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan. His research areas include Wireless Sensor Networks, Software-Defined Networking, Energy Optimization, Wireless Communications, and Machine Learning. He has published over 25 research papers in journals and conferences and is a member of professional organizations such as PEC and IEEE.
A Computational Analysis Approach for Future Reproductivity of Nano Electronic Devices in the Application of AI
Dr Qazi Humayun did Phd from University Malaysia Perlis in Nanoelectronic Engineering. He was a Senior Lecturer at faculty of electronic engineering technology university Malaysia Perlis. Currently he is working as Assistant professor at University of Lakki Marwat Pakistan. He has good track record of publications. His research interest studying and understanding the behavior of electronic circuits build up of nanscale devices including nano-biosensors, microfluidics UV sensors, gas sensors and solar cells. A material computational analysis through density function theory (DFT) approach for future reproductivity of nano electronic devices.

Prof. Narzillo Mamatov is a professor at the Department of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME), National Research University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. His academic and research expertise focuses on signal, image, and video processing, as well as machine learning and feature extraction techniques applied to modern digital technology challenges. He has authored numerous journal and conference publications, contributing significantly to areas such as image enhancement, pattern recognition, and AI-based solutions for agricultural and medical imaging applications.
