Welcome to ICE4CT 2027The Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology (FKTE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis, is pleased to announce the 7th International Conference on Emerging Electrical Energy, Electronics and Computing Technologies 2027 (ICE4CT 2027)with the theme of Transforming the Future through Sustainable Energy, Intelligent Electronics and Computing Technologies.ICE4CT 2027 provides an international platform for researchers, academicians, engineers, industry professionals, postgraduate students and technology practitioners to present and discuss recent developments, emerging challenges and innovative solutions in electrical energy, electronics, computing and related engineering disciplines.The conference aims to strengthen interdisciplinary research collaboration and knowledge exchange among universities, research institutions, professional organisations and industries. Participants will have opportunities to present original research, engage with experts and establish potential national and international collaborations.ICE4CT was first established in 2019, and the latest edition is this coming December 2026. Since its inception, the conference has evolved into an international platform for researchers, academicians, engineers, industry professionals and postgraduate students to exchange knowledge, present research findings and discuss emerging technological developments. Over the years, the ICE4CT conference series has been published in Scopus-indexed proceedings. The conference continually broadens its technical scope to keep pace with rapid advances in electrical and electronic engineering; renewable and sustainable energy; control and intelligent systems; robotics; communication technologies; computing and artificial intelligence; and mechanical, mechatronic and marine engineering. Each edition has deepened interdisciplinary engagement and fostered research collaboration among universities, research institutes, professional bodies and industry partners. Building upon the achievements of its previous editions, ICE4CT 2027 marks the seventh edition of the conference series.

Call for PapersSubmitted papers should present significant theoretical, experimental, methodological or applied contributions within the conference scope.All submissions must contain original work that has not previously been published and is not concurrently under consideration by another journal, conference or publication venue. This requirement is consistent with IEEE’s policy on multiple submissions and prior publication. Authors are invited to submit papers addressing, but not limited to, the following conference tracks.

Submission GuidelinesAuthors are invited to submit full papers through the official ICE4CT 2027 paper submission system.Submission System Link : [To be inserted following IEEE approval] Manuscript RequirementsSubmitted papers must:● fall within the technical scope of ICE4CT 2027;● contain original and unpublished research;● clearly state the research problem, methodology, results and contribution;● include sufficient technical evidence and appropriate references;● be written in clear and professional English;● follow the prescribed IEEE conference paper format;● be submitted electronically in PDF format; and● comply with the page limits and formatting requirements specified by the conference.

Peer-Review Process

Peer-Review PolicyAll submitted papers will undergo a formal peer-review process. IEEE requires conference papers intended for publication to undergo peer review before publication. Each manuscript will initially be screened by the Editorial and Technical Programme Committee to determine:● relevance to the conference scope;● compliance with the submission requirements;● manuscript completeness;● basic technical quality;● similarity and possible duplication; and● compliance with publication ethics.Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be assigned to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.
Review ModelICE4CT 2027 will apply a single-blind peer-review process, in which reviewer identities are not disclosed to the authors.
Number of ReviewersEach eligible manuscript will normally be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
Editorial DecisionBased on reviewers’ reports, the possible decisions are:● Accept● Accept with minor revision● Major revision and reconsideration● Reject
The final acceptance decision will be made by the ICE4CT 2027 Proceedings Editors and Technical Programme Committee based on the reviewers’ recommendations, technical quality and compliance with conference requirements subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
The use of a dedicated peer-review management system is consistent with IEEE guidance because such systems support paper submission, reviewer assignment, review monitoring and technical programme management.

Publication and Indexing
ICE4CT 2027 has applied to the IEEE Conference Publication Program. Accepted and presented papers may be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore®, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Presentation and No-Show Policy Presentations may be delivered physically or through the approved online conference platform according to the presentation mode assigned by the organiser. All presenters must participate in the scheduled technical session and respond to questions from the session chair or participants.
Accepted papers that are not presented at the conference may be excluded from the final conference proceedings submitted for publication.

Publication Ethics and Author ResponsibilitiesICE4CT 2027 is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity and publication ethics.Authors must ensure that:● the submitted manuscript represents original work;● the manuscript is not under review elsewhere;● all listed authors have made a meaningful contribution;● all sources are appropriately acknowledged and cited;● data, results and images have not been fabricated or falsified;● permissions have been obtained for copyrighted materials;● conflicts of interest are properly disclosed; and● the manuscript complies with applicable research ethics requirements.Submissions involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated results, inappropriate authorship or unethical research practices may be rejected at any stage of the review or publication process.

Similarity and Plagiarism ScreeningAll submitted manuscripts may be screened using recognised similarity-checking software.Similarity reports will be evaluated by the Editorial Committee. A similarity percentage alone will not determine acceptance or rejection. The committee will examine the nature, extent and context of the matched content.Papers containing substantial unattributed material, duplicate publication or inappropriate reuse of previously published work may be rejected.Authors may be required to revise sections with excessive textual similarity before their manuscripts can proceed to peer review or publication.

Final Manuscript PreparationFollowing acceptance, authors must submit a final camera-ready manuscript incorporating all required revisions.Final manuscripts intended for submission to IEEE must comply with IEEE Xplore technical requirements. IEEE recommends using IEEE PDF eXpress to verify PDF compatibility. Final submission requirements may include:● IEEE-compliant camera-ready PDF;● completed copyright documentation;● evidence of registration;● response to reviewers;● author and affiliation verification;● PDF eXpress compliance confirmation; and● presenter information.The PDF eXpress Conference ID and detailed final-submission instructions will be provided to accepted authors after the publication arrangement has been confirmed.

Copyright InformationAuthors of accepted papers will be required to complete the applicable IEEE electronic copyright process before their papers can be included in the final proceedings submitted to IEEE.Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not infringe third-party copyright. Written permission must be obtained for any copyrighted figures, tables, images or substantial content reproduced from other sources.Detailed copyright instructions will be communicated to corresponding authors after acceptance.
