Thesis Opportunities: 

• Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis projects are available in the field of nanophotonics. In particular, the research activity focuses on the study of light confinement in sub-micrometric regions by exploiting both ordered and disordered dielectric systems, such as photonic crystal cavities, Mie scatterers, and hyperuniform geometries.
  Nanophotonics theses can be either experimental or based on numerical simulations.

Opportunità di Tesi:

• Possibilità di tesi triennali e magistrali nell'ambito della nanofotonica. In particolare l'attività di ricerca delle tesi è focalizzata nello studio del confinamento di luce in regioni sub-micrometriche sfruttando sistemi dielettrici ordinati e disordinati come cavità a cristalli fotonici, scatteratori di Mie e geometrie iperuniforme.

Le tesi di nanofotonica possono essere sia sperimentali che di simulazione numerica.
