Nanophotonics
and Quantum Light Emitters

Research group
Dept. of Physics and Astronomy, University of Florence (Italy)

Light matter interaction can be artificially tailored by nanotechnology in several novel ways, with utmost interest for applications in optical sensing, optoelectronics, high performance integrated optics and quantum science. Our group investigates innovative ideas both for quantum light emitters and for nanophotonic structures. The ultimate goal is their integration in a single device able to manipulate electrons and photon properties so to control light-matter interaction at the nanoscale.
