Reaching Rende:  

The University of Calabria is located in Rende, in the district of Cosenza (CS). 

By Flight: The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF), about 50 km from the campus.

To get from the airport to Rende and the University area, we suggest using the Flixbus service [www.flixbus.it/]. 

The airport bus stop is called "Lamezia Terme Aeroporto". Enter "Cosenza" as your destination, and you will see three options: 

•  "Rende (Cosenza Nord)" drops you off just a short walk from the hotel and is the preferred option;

• "Cosenza (Autostazione)" and "Rende (Cosenza Università)" are also fine (the second one is better), but in that case, please let us know your arrival time and we will give you more information on how to reach the hotel.

By Train: The airport is also connected to the Lamezia Terme Centrale train station by a shuttle service (here the timetables).

For those traveling by train, the station to choose is "Castiglione Cosentino". For timetables and to purchase tickets, please visit Trenitalia (www.trenitalia.com/en.html ). Hotels in Quattromiglia are within walking distance of the station, and a bus stop is located directly outside the train station. 

Other Bus Services: several bus companies, including Ferrovie della Calabria, Autolinee Romano, Lirosi and Autolinee Federico, operate routes connecting the airport to nearby cities and the University of Calabria [link].

By Car: Car rental services are available at Lamezia Terme Airport for those who prefer to travel independently. From the A2 Autostrada del Mediterraneo (Salerno–Reggio Calabria), take the Rende (Cosenza Nord) exit and follow the road signs to reach the Università della Calabria. (Route here)
