What We Investigate
Our laboratory projects are designed to achieve three primary research objectives:
1) Robustly estimate the amount and relevant characteristics of the synchronized motoneural activity generated during the execution of functional motor tasks of the arm and shoulder in healthy individuals.
2) Identify efficient protocols of neural stimulation that could induce persistent plasticity in the motoneuron pools.
3) Develop a robust framework for the concurrent estimation and stimulation of neural patterns in the arm and shoulder muscles of stroke and breast cancer survivor individuals.
