Silvia Rio M.Sc.

Silvia has a bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences since 2022 from Università degli Studi di Brescia, Brescia, Italy. She received the M.Sc. degree in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities, at the same university, in 2024. Currently, she is Ph.D. candidate in National PhD Programme in Kinesiology and Sport Sciences at the Department of Life and Health Sciences, Università degli Studi di Verona, Brescia, Italy. 

The aim of her thesis is to optimize the estimation of muscle activation through high-density surface electromyography in underrepresented populations such as the elderly and females by adapting HDsEMG recording and analysis techniques to improve functional assessment during specific training protocols.
