About Me
Dr. Hu received her M.Sc. degree in Biomechanics from Beijing Sport University, China, in 2018. In April 2024, she obtained her Ph.D. degree in Biomechanics from University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Currently, she works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences, Università degli Studi di Brescia, Brescia, Italy.
Her research combines biomechanics and neurophysiology to investigate corticospinal excitability and movement performance, such as dynamic balance control. She is especially interested in how different types of sport training induce neural adaptations at the cortical (motor cortex), subcortical (reticulospinal), or spinal level in humans.
