A two days Workshop on Approximation Methods and Applications will be held with the aim to celebrate the career and work of Prof. Michele Campiti of the University of Salento on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
The workshop topics will focus on the most recent developments in the field of approximation theory, from a numerical and functional point of view, and its applications, with particular reference to: Korovkin approximation theory, diffusion problems, sampling operators, integral operators, positive approximation processes, multivariate approximation methods.
