Research

We work to expand the strained alkyne toolbox by integrating organic synthesis and molecular photoswitches to control reactivity. Our goal is to design a new class of photoactive molecules and study their structure–reactivity relationships.

We focused on developing new methods to access reactive intermediates using photoredox catalysis. Our research utilizes newly developed methods to synthesize structurally complex small molecules.
